How we operate:
We’re founders first. We run Powerset like a company—not an investment firm. Most of our headcount is engineering. We build systems to automate investment sourcing, go-to-market and recruiting, rigorously track outcomes, and then productionize and make publicly available what works.
About the Role
You’ll embed with our top portfolio companies as a full-cycle recruiter, hands-on and deeply integrated in their hiring. From companies like Modal, Braintrust and OpenCode, to new companies we’re adding weekly, you’ll become a trusted hiring partner to some of the most exciting frontier companies.
You’ll also be integral in building out and becoming a power user of our AI-powered platform for recruiting and GTM, pressure-testing it daily, shaping the roadmap, and helping our engineering team extend and polish it into something the market hasn’t seen yet.
What you’ll do:
- Recruit across technical roles for our top portfolio founders
- Collaborate with our engineering team to redefine recruiting from the ground up — you won’t just work the role, you’ll help build what it becomes

Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary of $120-200k + carried interest in investments + equity in Powerset.
